Pinus nigra/Austrian Pine

This robust, evergreen tree is known for its tall, straight trunk and dense, dark green foliage. Its needles are long and stiff, grouped in pairs, and its bark is deeply furrowed, turning from gray to yellow-brown with age. The Austrian Black Pine is highly adaptable and very resilient to a variety of soil conditions.
