Americana Agave

This striking evergreen succulent is known for its dramatic, architectural form and blue-gray foliage. It features long, rough-textured leaves that form a rosette with sharp spines along the edges and tips. In maturity, each rosette can produce a very tall flower stalk, adding vertical interest to the landscape. Thriving in full sun, it prefers well-drained, gritty, and rocky soils, and is drought-tolerant once established. This plant prefers to be dry in winter and requires occasional to low water. Ideal for use in desert gardens, rock gardens, or as a container plant, it is also resistant to deer, rabbits, and heat.
