Slough Sedge
Slough Sedge is both drought-tolerant and capable of withstanding wet conditions in winter, making it ideal for lining the edges of dry streambeds, seasonal drainage ditches, or serving as an aggressively spreading primary plant in the bottom of a rain garden to block weed entry. In a garden setting, it remains much shorter than in a true wetland.
