The Katsura Tree is a medium-sized deciduous tree native to Japan and China. It has heart-shaped green leaves and spectacular golden-yellow to orange fall foliage. The tree is known for its sweet caramel-like smell when the leaves drop in the fall. It typically matures to 40-60’ tall in cultivation but can reach 100’ or more in the wild.Â
